Day four was one of the best days that we experienced in Switzerland. We started the day at the Fribourg railway station by splitting up into five teams. Each team had four Indian students accompanied by a Swiss counterpart. My team consisted of Juliana, Advaith, Sneha, Gaurav, and myself.
After splitting up into teams, we had an hour’s travel in the train to Luzern during which each team had a Quiz about Switzerland after which we Played the Swiss-uno.
On Reaching Luzern, we had one of the most amazing moments of the day. We, as teams, had to play a Treasure Hunt game organized by our coordinator. It was a very informative game through which we knew a lot about Luzern, its Churches, its underwater prison and the Nine Great walls.
After the Treasure hunt at Luzern there was a boat ride to Vitznau. The scenic beauty of the lake with the mountains on one side and the city on the other was really amazing.
On reaching Vitznau, we went by train to the top of Mount Rigi Kulm. On the way to the top of the mountains was the beautiful sight of the Range of Mountains besides the Lucerne lake.
At the top of Mount Rigi, it was quite cold with the temperature falling to 3 degrees. Even though it was sunny, the cool breeze on the mountains made it even cooler .After enjoying the sight of the beautiful mountains all around and a river flowing by the side, we had our picnic lunch together beside the train station. We all had different Swiss foods which we shared with each other.
After having lunch we returned to Luzern by train and then back to Fribourg. It was one of the best days we had experienced in Switzerland and we enjoyed the day to the fullest.

In the morning, we went to Lucerne by train. To make the visit more interesting the teachers separated our group into smaller groups, including both Swiss and Indian students. We all were given tasks which focused on learning more about the city and its traditions. The tasks included finding out about the names of the nine towers, about the local song and many other things. We were also able to walk through the Chapel bridge see the drawing inside and also the city from there during the search.
After visiting the city, we took the boat and then the cogwheel railway to reach the Rigi Kulm peak. Both of them offered us spectacular views of the mountains and the lake below. At the top of the peak, we had our lunch while experiencing the chilly wind. And afterwards we returned back to Freiberg by train ending our trip for that day.
